The peaceful nation of Iceland is in shock after a month-long peaceful protest by truck drivers over gas prices erupted into violence Thursday (April 24 2008) after police used CS gas and beat on protesters at a demonstration near a gas station. Protesters threw rocks and eggs at police. 21 protesters were arrested, and 15 trucks used to block roads were impounded. Four people were hospitalized; three civilians, and one police officer. There were many more protesters injured but this was not reported because they were aided by medics on-site.

Gas prices in Iceland are at their highest ever - 150 ISK per liter, or roughly US$8 per gallon.

This event marks the first time police have used violence against protesters in Iceland since 1949.

And just think we could be drilling our own oil (We Have enough at estimate for 160 years enough Natural Gas in the Gulf for a said 300 years.) and in the meantime develop alternative sources at a Manageable Pace. But no we can't do that.... Why do we have to have 63 different blends of fuel for different parts of the country, Why do we have 6 different Octane standards? Split the difference on that and just brew up one universal octane (92 octane) and one universal blending/refining Method and get that Gas mileage robbing Alcohol out of the mix all together (We loss anywhere from 4 to 8 Miles on a gallon And say your tank holds 20 gallons 20 x 6= 120 miles I used The loss of 6 miles a gallon because i split the differance of 4 to 8 miles a gal). Hahaha . People thought people were starving before Hahahahaha Just get a load of what has happend since our democratic congress and senate has taken office.. The sure way to drive global prices through the roof and propagate their Global Goodwill only at the expense of the American People. Oh Hell we Can pay for it!!!!.

Instead of eating the crops we have we are now forced to burn them (At the detriment of MPG) into which has caused the destruction of the amazon rain forest to be destroyed 5 times faster within the last 2 years then ever before. Anybody want a Logging Job????

OPEC had pretty much done anything we wanted them to do or bribed them to do. Now that Saddam is dead there is not much of a threat to security so they say drill less and drive up the prices. Make America pay for supporting Israel.

Internally we should never be at the mercy of the Middle East.
It is a disgrace to have environmental-cases dictating legislature.
We should have state-of-the-art refineries mass producing real fuel and green-nuts planting trees and sticking to farming.

How have we been reduced to such levels?
We need to be smart make money and lead the way.
The environmental-cases need to get out of the way or be run down.
Pansy liberal waste managers.

It will be likened to the Good Ole' Day's of Horse wrestling where they hung them, Car theft 10 - 15 years to the future of steal a gallon of gas thats Life boy how dare you.. Hahahaha

I do have some good news here. My husband said there is going to be drilling in North Dakota where there has been found (in the billions of gallons) of oil there. He said it's comparable to the amount of oil in Saudi Arabia. He also said Tulsa, Ok. is in the process of enlarging one of their refineries and it's suppose to be up and running in 2010.

I also have my eye on Iraq and Israel. Both are oil rich one just hasn't figured out where the oil is yet. There so many opportunities opening up yet the "right now" looks dismal.

Just counting down the next big E discovery to launch America into the top position once again.

Once again the Middle East will be in the jealous haters club. As if they ever left club JIHAD.

I think to myself when s the last time anyone discovered something outside the box. Something that revolutionizes everything.
Bigger than the internet more beneficial than a green label.
I think its time for that discovery!
